A Speaking Tour in China

In June 2023, Dr. Mei Gechlik, Founder and CEO of SINOTALKS^®, had a speaking tour in China. She visited four universities in Shanghai, Hangzhou, Beijing, and Hong Kong as well as a law firm in Guangzhou to explain what contributions universities and law firms in China can make to help the country strengthen its “soft connectivity” with the world. Such contributions can also improve the curriculums and legal practices of these universities and law firms.

Shanghai: Shanghai Jiao Tong University

Dr. Mei Gechlik (center)’s talk was moderated by Professor HOU Liyang, Professor of Koguan School of Law, Shanghai Jiao Tong University (5th from left). Judge HE Jian, a judge of the First Intermediate People’s Court of Shanghai Municipality (4th from right) was a discussant.
