
Dr. Shaoping Jiang

Dr. Shaoping Jiang is a visiting scholar at the School of Law, Washington University in St. Louis and a member of the “High-Level Talent Program” in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. She is an associate research fellow at the Zhejiang Agriculture and Forestry University (“ZAFU”), working at the Institute of Ecological Civilization, a key think tank dedicated to environmental science research. At ZAFU, she also serves as the Director of the Zhejiang Province Foreign-Related Legal Talents Cultivating Base and as a supervisor of students enrolled in the master’s program at the School of Humanities and Law. Before joining ZAFU, she was an assistant researcher at the Economic Law Institute of Guanghua Law School, Zhejiang University.
Dr. Jiang focuses on corporate governance, corporate social responsibility, and environmental policies in the service industry. Drawing on her research and her expertise in local legislation, she has contributed to the legislative process of the Regulation of Zhejiang Province on the Promotion of the Express Delivery Industry and has led several provincial and ministerial-level projects aimed at improving China’s business environment. To help advance global scholarship, she serves as a peer reviewer for Humanities & Social Sciences Communications, a Nature portfolio journal.
Dr. Jiang has published multiple articles in the International Journal of Hospitality Management, Current Issues in Tourism, and other highly regarded journals identified by the Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI), the Science Citation Index (SCI), and the Arts and Humanities Citation Index (A&HCI). She holds a Bachelor of Laws from Nankai University as well as a Master’s and Ph.D. in Law from Sun Yat-sen University.
